Busy Bee, BBQ and 2012 Dates
Well we have had our first get together for the year and it seems like the gap between the end of one pony club season and the start of another is getting shorter every year!
Thanks goes to all who could be at the grounds on Sat to help with the Busy Bee. Those who stayed on for the BBQ after were happy to have a chance to catch up with their pony club friends after the short break. The club website ( http://peelmhpc.com) already has all the 2012 dates posted so please go and have a look, fill in your diaries and be aware that alot of event have "close of entry" dates and can become full before these dates. You can also check out our Zone website ( http://westcoastalzone.com ) to see what the other clubs in our area have on offer. Looking at the events section of www.cavalletti.com.au or the PCAWA calendar ( www.pcawa.com) is also a great starting point for working out your diary dates for the year. Qualifying rally
Hi All,
If you are intending on competing at the 2012 State Tetrathalon at Northam on the 31st March - 1st of April .you will need three rallies on the mount you are taking before the CLOSE OF ENTRIES. ( tues 6th March ) Two of these need to be at your own club. Rallies from the last 12 months count so if you attended your three rallies last year ...relax. For the rest of you we will be running a Tetrathalon Qualifying Rally on the 29th of January 8am - 12pm. You need to get back to me as soon as possible if you need to attend this rally. 2012 BUSY BEE - ALL WELCOME
Hi All,
First of all Happy New year!! Now for those of you who are returning to Peel for the 2012 Pony Club season we are having a BBQ and busy bee at Peel this Saturday the 7th of Jan from 4.00 pm . Our new friends from Kelmscott Pony Club will also be attending and we will use this day to get the club house and grounds ready for our first couple of events and Rally number 1! The clubs will provide the meat for the BBQ just brings yourself ( friends and family are welcome ) tools, rakes, trimmers, shovels etc and a platter ( salad / desert ) to share and we will see you all at 4.00 pm Sat at the club grounds. We have had a lot of sand delivered for the grass. The bobcats will move the sand into place we just need hands on deck to spread it out, tidy the club house, whipper snip, etc. Not hard if we all help!!!. It’s that time of the year again!! Head down to Peel Pony Club on the 19th of November for a BBQ and trophy presentations from 3.30pm
Bring your own meat to cook on the BBQ and a salad (or something to share). If you are returning for the 2012 season this is the time to pay your $50 deposit. You need to bring cash with you or pay by direct deposit PRIOR to the night and record your receipt number. This will ensure your position is held for the 2012 year. Peel will be commencing a membership drive for the 2012. We cannot hold places for members who havn’t paid a deposit. We also will be restructuring the way jobs are delt out within the club. You will be expected to take on a position/regular job within the club if you have a child riding. Our club cannot continue to operate without the full support of ALL members.
